Albert William Richardson was born [1] on Sunday, 4th June 1916, the son of Harold Richardson and Ruby Minnie (Rayner) Richardson, in Bega, New South Wales, Australia.

RICHARDSON, ALBERT WILLIAM served with the Australian Army; Service Number: NX31578; attached to the Australian Army Service Corps attaining the rank of Lieutenant. RICHARDSON, ALBERT WILLIAM enlisted on Tuesday, 11 June 1940 at BARADINE, NSW and was released from service on Tuesday, 16 January 1945. [2] [3]

Bert married[4] Margaret Dowling Murray Tindall in 1944 at Liverpool, New South Wales, Australia. Together they had 6 children.
