From Ancestry.com: Obituary, source: Marion County Democrat newspaper, August 28, 1896, Page 8, from Darin Wooters, Elizabeth Richardson was born in Dixon County, Tennessee, September 1st, 1826, departed this life August 19, 1896, aged 69 years, 11 months, and 18 days. She came to this county when she was only a small child. At a very early age, she professed faith in Christ and joined the M.E. Church at Antioch. In 1842, she was married to Ezekiel Wooters. The union was blessed with 11 children, 3 sons and 8 daughters, of whom only 4 daughters are living, Mrs. J.V. Crane and Mrs. Frank Springer of this County; Mrs. Electa Ray of Piatt County; and Mrs. Ira Malcolm, of Piedmont, Missouri. Her companion preceded her to the Great Beyond, February 13th, 1886, since which time Aunt Elizabeth has resided with her daughter, Mrs. Ray at Bement, Illinois. For some time, she has been troubled with heart disease which finally caused her death. Although she had not been in excellent health for some time, her sudden death was quite a surprise to us. Besides the four daughters, she leaves two brothers, four sisters, several grandchildren, and many friends and other relatives to mourn her demise. A true Christian, a kind sister, a loving mother and grandmother has gone to rest. May we not hope to meet her some bright day, where sorrow is unknown and where we'll never say good-bye? Asleep in Jesus, free from pain, "Our loss, though great, to her is gain, Beloved by those who knew her here, And to her loved ones all, most dear".

Buried at Antioch Cemetery, Centralia, Marion County, Illinois.
