Biography
When Samuel Greenberry Richey was born on December 29, 1877, in DeKalb, Alabama, his father, Doctor, was 24 and his mother, Calpurny, was 23.
He married Mary Emma Long on September 29, 1897, in his hometown. They had two children during their marriage. [1]
He died on March 9, 1959, in Pleasant Hill, Alabama, at the age of 81, and was buried in DeKalb, Alabama.[2]
