Biography

Donald Ray Richey was born Jan. 11, 1923 in Clive, Iowa.

He first married Lois M. Herriatt who died in 1964. He then married Marjorie J. Walker who died in 2002. He did not have any children of his own.

Donald was the manager of the Haddon's Luggage store in downtown Des Moines and Merle Hay. He was a member of the Isaak Walton League and an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed gardening, bicycling, golf and playing cards.

Donald died on Jun. 20, 2011 in Dallas Center, Iowa.
