Nicolas Riopelle (also written Riopel/Le nom s'écrit Riopel et Riopelle) was born on 15 May 1767 in L'Ange-Gardien, Montmorency, Québec, Canada to Joseph Riopel and Marie Geneviève Julien.[1]
Nicolas Riopel married Marguerite Ritchot (1775 - 1852) on 20 June 1797 in L'Assomption, Quebec, Canada. He was the son of Joseph Riopel and Marie Geneviève Julien. She was the daughter of Jean-Baptiste Ritchot and Anne-Hélène Hébert.[2]
Nicolas Riopel died on 27 March 1848 in L'Assomption, Quebec, Canada.[3]
