Biography
Joseph Ritchie was born in about 1770 in Augusta, Virginia, British Colonial America. He was the son of Robert Ritchey and Catherine Henderson. He married Nancy Jane (Rhea) Ritchie on 7 November 1792 in Knox, Tennessee, United States. They were the parents of at least eight sons and two daughters. He died on about 12 June 1820 in Jefferson, Tennessee, United States.
