Biography

Clyde was born in Pennsylvania 1891 to Joseph M. Ritter (1847-1933) and Phoebe Agnes Barnd (1852-1912). In his World War I draft registration, at the age of 25, Clyde is described as medium height and build with brown eyes and hair. It also noted that he was nearsighted. He was working as a carpenter at the time. In his World War I draft registration, at the age of 50, he is described as 5'6" tall, 140 lbs, with brown eyes, gray hair, and a ruddy complexion. He passed away in 1956.
