Biography
Catherine Ritter was the daughter of Michael Ritter and his first wife Martha Nichtern (1860- 1889). [1]
Catherine was baptized at Saint Boniface Roman Catholic Church with her parents listed as Michael and Martha. [2]
Michael and Martha, who married in 1882, had the following children who were siblings of Catherine: Anna Magdalene (1883–1968), Maria (1884–1916), Catherine (1885–1970), Sophia Apollonia (1888–1941). However, by 1900, Catherine was living with her father, his second wife Rosa Meier, and her siblings. [3]
Catherine also had a half-sister, Hilda, - the daughter of her father and his second wife.
Catherine married Ferdinand Raible in the Saint Boniface Catholic Church. [4]
Ferdinand and Catherine had the following children: Frederick Paul (1911–1980), Dorothy C (1913–1970), Carl J (1915–1976), Stanley Michael (1918–1968), and Ann Mary (1925–2014). [5]
