Biography
Elizabeth was born in Ampthill, Bedfordshire, in 1842. She was the eldest daughter of William Robinson Roberts and Mary Anne Read.Her name is sometimes given as Elizabeth Marion, or Marianne Elizabeth, so it is also possibly worth checking under the name Elizabeth Mary Ann.
Elizabeth was baptised on 11 Jul 1856, when she was 13 years old. It is thought that this was around the time of her father's untimely death.
Nothing more is known of Elizabeth at this time.
