James Robertson was born abt. 1811, the son of Thomas Robertson and Susannah Jenkins of Mt. Albion, Lot 48, Prince Edward Island[1][2][3]
About 1841, he married Marry Murray, the daughter of John Murray and Honoria Hierlihy of Tabusintac, New Brunswick. They settled in Birch HIll, Lot 49, Prince Edward Island, and their children included:
Elizabeth, born about 1842, who died before 1869[1]
