Biography

George Robertson is a part of US Black heritage.

George was born in 1875 in Missouri. He was the son of William and Emily Robertson. ^[1] In 1880 George was living with his parents and siblings in Brunswick, Missouri.^[2]

By 1920 he had married Margie Lightfoot and they were living in St. Louis with 2 children.^[3]

In 1950 George and Margie were still in St. Louis; Margie's mother Sarah Lightfoot was also living with them.^[4]

He passed away in 1969 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 93. He was buried in Washington Park Cemetery in Berkeley, Missouri.^[5]
