Elizabeth Robertson was born in about 1809 in Tennessee.[1]
She married Michael Fleener on 7 June 1829 in Bloomington, Monroe County, Indiana.[2]
Elizabeth Robertson and Michael Fleener married 7 June, 1829 in Monroe County, Indiana.
Their first children were born in Indiana, but by about 1840 moved west to the northwest part of Missouri in an area that would become Harrison County, where their younger children were born. Several related families also migrated to Missouri around the same time, including the family of Michael's sister Ary (Fleener) Hubbard. However, by 1850, Michael and Elizabeth and their family had returned to Johnson County, Indiana.[3]
Michael died before 1860, when Elizabeth appears as the widowed head of her household in Poweshiek County, Iowa.[1]
Elizabeth reportedly died in Mahaska County, Iowa, on 21 December 1867.[4]
Children of Michael and Elizabeth:
All except Catherine and Martha Emaline are listed in his household in the 1850 census.[3] Martha Emaline is listed in the household of her widowed mother along with some of the other siblings in the 1860 census.[1]
According to the Find a Grave memorial for Elizabeth, her birth date was 15 Jan 1809, but the date, if any, on the gravestone image is not legible so it is unclear if this birth date is reflected on the stone.
Elizabeth was born in 1809. She passed away in 1867.
