Jeptha was born on 27 October 1854 in Bosque County, Texas. He was the son of John H Robertson and Adaline M Gary. He passed away on 29 November 1932 in Clay County, Texas^[1] and is buried in Rule Cemetery, Haskell County, Texas.^[2]
