Biography

cremated, as he requested (was done in Kansas City after a period of time during which Aunt Luella investigated cremation, which was not available in Pittsburg) - ashes in cemetery in Pittsburg (according to Luella, his wife, and Judy, his dau, when i visited in Aug. 2008, at Luella's home in Pittsburg - bcs) Aunt Luella said that getting him cremated turned out to be more complicated than he had foreseen - it had to be done in KC - but that he wanted that so in time she arranged it - had ashes buried where she will be buried near the fence of the cemetery near their house - bcs 11/09

Memories: 1
Enter a personal reminiscence or story.
We loved him a lot. He had a big stomach and would take our hands and let us walk up his front when we were little (our father was overseas during WWII so we didn't do the kinds of things kids do with fathers . . . he had three little kids, so would visit occasionally and entertain us with things he entertained his kids with). Such a fun man.
