His will reads [1]:
In the name of God Amen, I John C. Robinson of the county of Monongalia being sick and weak in body but of sound mind and disposing memory ( for which I thank God ) and calling to mind the uncertainty of human life and being desirous to dispose of all such worldly estate as it hath pleased God to bless me with I give and bequeath the same in manner following that is to say, I give my wife Delila Robinson all my estate both real and personal to hold and possess during life and at hur death to to Henry H. Greegs and his heirs forever.
In witness whereof I have here unto set my hand and affixed my seal this 29 day of Spetember in the year 1846.
Signed sealed published and declared by John C. Robinsonas and for his last will and testament in the presence and hearing of us who at his request and in his presence have subscribed our names as witnesses.

A paper writing purporting to be the last will and testament of John C. Robinson was this day produced in court, duly proven by the oath of Belah Davis & John A. Davis, two of the subscribing witnesses thereto, and admitted to record.
John must have died between September 29, 1846 and October 26, 1846.
