Raymond John Robinson was an Australian journalist and cricket historian.^[1]

He was born in Brighton, Victoria, Austraia in 1905,^[2] the son of John Robinson, a butcher, and Clarice Isabel Drayton.

Ray married Ellen Jessie Gilbert at Brighton Methodist Church, Victoria on the 6th of October, 1928.^[3][1]

He died at the Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney, on the 6th of July, 1982.^[4][1][5]

Research Notes

Son's obituary has his wife's surname as Guernin instead of Gilbert.^[6]
