Biography

William was born about 1774.

On the 12th April 1796, William married Mary Bayley by banns at St. John the baptist, Margate, Kent, England. Witnessed by Richard Mummery and James Dixon {Parish Clerks}[1]

William was occupied as a shoemaker[2][3][4]

He passed away aged 75 years in 1849 and was buried on the at St. John the Baptist, Margate, Kent, England[5].

Research Notes

No baptisms have been found for William & Catherine, however Catherine is living with Martha Hannah in 1841, and next door to Frederick Bailey who is next door to William & Mary. Catherine is also recorded as the daughter of Mary Robinson in 1851. Catherine was a witness at the marriage of William Robinson Jnr. in 1829.
