25 May 1672 - Settlement: Richard Robinson of Thickett esq. to Henry Edmunds of Worsbrough esq. and Peter Bradley of Thickett, gent.: Cottingwith Grainge ; with 3 cottages and rent of 9s. 8d., out of 4 oxgangs in West Cottingwith, and a messuage in Thorganby: To use of Richard Robinson for life and then to his wife Elizabeth for life in lieu of dower, and then to son and heir Richard Robinson for life, with remainder to Humfrey Robinson son and heir of Richard Robinson, the son.[3]

Humphry married Rebecca Moore on 15 September 1690 in Monk Fryston, Yorkshire (West Riding), England.[6]
He died in 1705 and was buried on 20 April 1705 in Wheldrake, Yorkshire (East Riding), England.[7]

In his will of 1518, William Akeroyd of Marston had created a scholarship in perpetuity for a scholar at Oxford or Cambridge who was "near to me in blood". The original trustees were his sons, Henry and Edmund Akeroyd. The scholarship had been in abeyance for some time but was restored in 1699 with trustees (among others) Thomas Croft Esq, Humphrey Robinson Esq, Mr. Deane, vicar of Batley,Mr. Killingbeck, vicar of Leeds. The scolarship was funded by an estate comprising lands at Brierly, Grimesthorpe, and Batley.
