Martinus Johannes Rodi was born on 13 Dec 1837 in Schiedam, Zuid-Holland, Nederland, son of Jacob Willemsz Rodi (1793–1858) and Hillegond Johannusdr van der Most (1794–1857).[1]
Martinus (25) married Maaike Noordzij (22) (born on 16 May 1841 in Charlois, Zuid-Holland; daughter of Jacob Noordzij) on 25 Jun 1863. [2] They had 5 children.
Martinus (42) married Maaike Hakkert (24) (born on 19 Aug 1855 in Herwijnen, Gelderland, Nederland; daughter of Kornelis Hakkert and Willemke de Jongh) on 8 Jan 1880 in Charlois, Zuid-Holland.[3] They had 5 children, including:
- Cornelis Martinus Rodi (1893–1946).
Martinus died on 18 Sep 1896 in Rotterdam, Zuid-Holland, aged 58.[4]
