Biography
- Margaret and her siblings moved with her parents from Pennsylvania to Perry County, Ohio where she married James Moore (Apr. 29, 1805 - Sep. 29, 1872) in 1826. They later moved to Christian County, Illinois where she died and was buried at Greenwood Cemetery, Assumption, Christian County, Illinois where her husband was later buried.
- James later remarried a Jane Fakner who survived him. Jane Fakner is actually Jane Rodman Fakner, the widowed sister of Margaret Rodman Moore.

I am one of the great-great-granddaughters of Margaret Rodman Moore, through my great-grandfather William Rodman Moore, grandfather Francis (Frank) Porter Moore, and mother Marie Moore Denton. I would be interested in learning more about Margaret's parents. I currently volunteer in the Licking County Genealogical Society in Newark, Ohio, coincidentally very near where my great-great-grandmother was married in Perry County, Ohio in December 1826 (I think, or record may show 1827).
