John was born in 1733. He passed away in 1787. He was the son of John Roe (b. 1705 Drowned Meadow, Port Jefferson, Suffolk, NY; d. Nov 1782 Brookhaven) and Joanna Miller (b. 1704 Millers Place, Suffolk; d. 10 Aug 1775 Brookhaven. She was the daughter of Andrew Miller and Rebecca Burnett.

John (b.1733) married (1) MARY BREWSTER Abt. 1755 in Setauket, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York, daughter of JOSEPH BREWSTER and RUTH BRISCOE. She was born 1734 in Setauket, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York, and died Bef. 1776 in Unknown. Their children are:

  1. MARY ROE, b. November 16, 1765, Port Jefferson, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York; d. November 20, 1795, Setauket, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York.
