Research Notes

The son John connected to this profile is certainly wrong, as that John lived in Tennessee. The correct identity of Benjamin's son John has not been researched, so the link to the incorrect John has not yet been disconnected.

The Benjamin Rogers, born in Newbury 2 Jun 1713 to Thomas and Hannah, married Lizzee Chase 17 Aug 1732, in Newbury. Records on Am. Anc.

The Benjamin Rogers born 11 Jul 1714 and baptized 24 Oct. 1714, son of John, in Boxford, married Alice (Perley) Foster 11 Oct 1734, in Boxford. Records on Am. Anc.

The Benjamin of Newbury did not have a WikiTree profile. One was created, and Elizabeth Chase linked to that Benjamin.

The Benjamin of Boxford’s parents were John Rogers of Boxford (1684-1755) and Susannah (Marston) Rogers (1687-1757). I have linked him to his proper parents. The John Rogers and Martha Whittingham previously linked as parents were of Ipswich, married there in 1790. No son named Benjamin listed in their profiles.

Rogers-27283 and Rogers-19036 are definitely the same person, however, they both have completely different mothers, and although the fathers have the same name, they are also not the same man. I think an error may have been made with the parents, based on the lack of citations.
