Biography
Richard Coggins Rogers, the son of Richard Rogers and Elizabeth was baptised at Stoke Damerel, Devon on 10th September 1822.[1]
He married Helen Maria (Boolds) Rogers (1824-) in 1846.[2][3]
At the time of the 1851 Census they were at East Stonehouse, Devon with three children. Richard was working as a Superintendents Clerk at the Royal Navy Hospital.[4]

- Middle Name: The baptism register clearly has Richard's middle name as Coggins. Some later records have Cogan or Cogin.
