Abraham Römer was born on 15 Aug. 1760 in Lancaster County, British Colony of Pennsylvania.[1]
He married Magdalena Grace Groff.[1]
He moved to Markham, Ontario, Canada with his family in 1809.[2]
He named his new home " Mount Joy" after the town they came from in Pennsylvania.[3]
Abram died on 21 Sep. 1846 in Markham, Ontario, Canada and was buried at Ramer Cemetery (Mount Joy), Markham, Ontario. His memorial has a photo of his headstone and links to those of family members.[1]
