Ann Rootes was born in Sussex, England on 24 March 1831 and baptised at the Wesleyan Church, Rye, Sussex on 24 April 1831. She was the daughter of James Rootes & Anna Hicks.[1][2]
Stephen Clifton married Ann Rootes in the Wesleyan Methodist at Cobbitty, New South Wales on 15 March 1855.[3]
Ann died at her son's residence of "The Bungalow", Nicholson Street, Burwood, New South Wales on 4 December 1914.[4][5][6][7]
