Honorably Discharged Aug. 26th, 1863, at Pittsburgh, PA. Farmer and teacher. Married Dec. 23, 1846 (in a double wedding with his cousin John Clark Rose & Mary Brandon) to Maria Catherine "Kate" Brandon (1830-1919). Mary & Kate were daughters of James Brandon & Nancy McDowell.
