He died on Jan. 18, 1862 at Paintsville, KY. The children were: Samuel Rose (b. June 9, 1848), Mary F. Rose (b. June 6, 1850), Jacob Rose (b. Dec. 21, 1852) and Robert Rose (b. Jan. 21, 1856). [1]
