Biography

William was born in 1853. He was the son of William Ross and Sarah Renn. He is listed with his parents on both: the 1860 Census^[1] and the 1870 Census^[2] in Lower Augusta Township, Northumberland, Pennsylvania. He was the husband of Hannah Jane Strasser (or Strausser) and they are listed together (with five children listed) on the 1900 Census which indicates that they married in 1880.^[3] They are also listed together on the 1910 Census with another daughter listed; for a total of six children.^[4] He passed away in 1910.^[5]
