Alexander was born in Ireland about 1804 and migrated from Co. Monaghan with his wife Emeline Caroline on the Argyle, arriving in 1841. A son, Alexander, was born on the voyage.[1]
Alexander died in Redfern, New South Wales, on 26 Mar 1867 (exact date determined by restricting search date range).[2]
