Marie Regina "Gina" Ross was born in Baraga, Michigan on 29 March 1910, the daughter of Adolph Ross and Clara Cadeau.[1] She lived her early life in Baraga with her parents.[2][3][4] On 27 November Gina married Joseph Sterbenz, the son of Joseph Sterbenz Sr. and Annie Fisher, at Holy Name Church in Assinins.[5][6] The couple were living in Marquette, Michigan (where Joseph was employed as a tractor mechanic) with their two sons as of 1940.[7] They lived in the same place in 1950.[8] Later she lived in Lake Linden.[9][1] Joseph died in 1972.[1] Marie passed away on 3 January 1993 at the Houghton County Medical Care Facility in Hancock, Michigan following a lengthy illness. She was buried on January 5th at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Lake Linden.[1][10]
