Biography
She appears to have arrived in America with her parents in 1847, then to have settled with them in Tuscarawas County, Ohio. The 1870 U.S. Census says that she could read but could not write. The 1900 U.S. Census says that she had borne 5 children, and that 4 of them were still alive.
