Tho contracting parties were Miss Helen Leys, oldest daughter of Mr. Thomas Leys ("Willow Farm" ) and Mr. Alfred Rothacker, third son of the late Mr. Christian Rothacker, of Whipstick. Mr. Louie Rothacker (brother of the bridegroom) was best man, and Mr. Tom Leys (brother of the bride) groomsman. After the ceremony about 70 of the most intimate friends of bride and bridegroom sat down to a sumptuous wedding breakfast. The usual toasts were proposed and responded to with great enthusiasm.
