Biography
Peter Roths was born in November of 1864, in Bickendorf, Landkreis Bitburg-Prüm, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany. He was the son of Matthias Roths and Catherine Trappen.[1] [2] [3]
About 1869 he emigrated with his family to the United States. They settled in the area around Stockton, a small community in Jo Daviess County, Illinois.
Peter married Theresa Pitz on April 20th, 1898 in Chickasaw, Iowa.[4]
They had 3 children.

Lawrence J, born in 1902
Leona Wilhelmina, born in 1907
He passed away in 1953, [5] in Ionia, Iowa, and is buried at Saint Boniface Cemetery in Ionia.
