Biography
Dorothy Rothwell was born in Huntley Township in 1909. She was the daughter of William Rothwell and Margaret Patton. She married Earl McElary.
Dorothy Essie McElary (nee Rothwell) passed away on Thursday, August 27, 1992, Dorothy Rothwell, age 82. Wife of the late Earl D. McElary (Sgt. R.C.S.C.) and daughter ol the late Margaret Anne Patton and William A. Rothwell. Dear mother of Wayne (Col-teen) and Gail (Mrs. Jim Halden). Loving grandmother of Tracy-Lee Halden, Andrew and Krista McElary. Sister of Herbert (Herb) and Ethel Hartman. Predeceased by brothers Colin and Osborne (Ozzie) and sisters Almira (Mrs. Milton Ward), Linda (Mrs. Bower Home) and Annie (Mrs. Tommy Coyne).[1]
