Soldier of the Revolution. A Private in Lt. Dryer's Company, Col. Thomas Carpenter's Regiment, marching from Rehoboth to Bristol, RI on the alarm of 8 Dec 1776, in service 12 days. It is possible he is also the "Isaac Round" who was a gunner's mate on the brigantine "Tyrannicide", out of Boston, engaged 22 Jan 1779 and discharged 30 Apr 1779, as well as serving as a seaman on the brig "Hazard", engaged 12 May 1779 for 1 month, 9 days. However, it is possible that Isaac the sailor was a descendant of Mark Round, instread of this Isaac.
