Obituary

ROUSE, MERICK, (Stone Mills) 68, carpenter and farmer, served in Co. G, 10th N.Y.H.A. Vols., wounded in the wrist by rebel sharpshooters, also in right eye.

The Lowville Herald dated Thursday August 13, 1914.

MERRICK ROUSE, DIES. The funeral services, of Merrick Rouse were; held Thursday afternoon Mr. Rouse, died suddenly Wednesday at his home on Water street. Coroner H.A. Bassett reported that he was found death, due to valvular heart trouble.

Burial: War Memorial Monument at Lowville Rural Cemetery in Lowville, Lewis County, New York, United States.
