Biography
Jean Baptiste, son of Jean Roux and Judith Emard, was born 10 Sep 1756 and baptized 13 Sep 1756 in the parish of Saint-Joachim-de-Châteauguay, Châteauguay, Canada, Nouvelle-France. His godparents were Claude Ride and Louise Emard. [1]
Jean Roux, son of Jean Roux and the late Judith Aimard, and Marie Hyppolithe Guerin, daughter of Jean Guerin and Marie Charlotte Dupuy, were married 26 Feb 1781 in the parish of Nativité-de-la-Prairie-de-la-Magdeleine, La Prairie, Province de Québec. [2]

Jean Roux age of about thirty-eight years, widower of Marie Apolline Guerin and son of the late Jean Roux and Judith Hémard, and Marie Eulalie Lécuier age of about eighteen years, daughter of Pierre Lécuier and Genevieve Dénoyer, were married 27 Feb 1797 in the parish of Saint-Philippe, Bas-Canada.
