Biography

Charles Chipman Rowe was born on 17 Jul 1856 in East Oxford, Oxford, Maine, USA, son of Nathaniel Eveleth Rowe (1818 - 1874) and Esther Lane (Chipman) Rowe (1827 - 1908).

Charles (23) married Emma Elvira Paine (22) , daughter of Abner Reed Paine and Dianna Ellen Andrews, on 10 Jun 1880[citation needed] in East Oxford

Their children were:
  1. Benjamin Elwood Rowe (1881 - 1956)
  2. Annie Louise (Rowe) Lane (1883 - 1958)
  3. Charles Winfield Rowe (1886 - 1967).

Charles (34) married Emily Pearson (32) on 19 Apr 1891 in Buckfield. Their son was

  1. Elmer Albert Rowe (~1893 - ~1987).

Charles died on 13 Oct 1924 in East Oxford aged 68. He is buried in Chipman-Farris Cemetery, Oxford.
