Biography

Pierre Roi dit Desjardins was born on October 30, 1810 in Saint-Louis-de-Kamouraska, Kamouraska County, Quebec, Lower Canada, British North America.

He was the ninth of thirteen children of Pierre Roy dit Desjardins and Angélique Sirois.

He was a farmer.

He married Victoria Lebel on July 31, 1827 in Saint-Louis-de-Kamouraska.^[1]

They had the following children:

He died on April 2, 1857. He is buried at Notre Dame, Montreal, Quebec.
