Biography
Married Grace Afton Olsen May 27, 1925 in Murray, Utah; marriage solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple February 24, 1927. Member of the LDS Church, High Priest, he served in the superintendency of the Sunday School and was a long time faithful home teacher. Retired from KCC after 35 years of service.
Survived by three daughters, Mrs. John (Afton) King, Clinton; Mrs. Roscoe (Elaine) Williams, Taylorsville; Mrs. Terry (Doloris) Williams, Kearns; daughter-in-laws, Kathryn, Taylorsville; Jeannine, Kearns; Lorraine, Lehi; four brothers and three sisters, Chris, West Valley City; Sam, Holladay; Sylvester, Fillmore; Lewis, West Valley City; Lavina Grobstein, Sugerhouse; Rebekah Ek, Magna; Irene Jefferies, West Valley City. Preceded in death by wife and three sons, Melvin, Duane and LaMar.
