Biography

Mabel was born 14 October 1817, in Wilbraham, Massachusetts. She is the daughter of Joseph Russell and Miriam Morgan. ^[1]

On 18 September 1843, Mabel married Dan A. McCoy in Hambden, Geauga, Ohio.^[2]

In 1850, the family is living in Hanbden, Ohio. Dan is a farmer.^[3]

In 1860, the family is living in Jackson Township, Linn, Iowa.^[4]

In 1870, the family is in Spencer, Clay, Iowa. Daniel as a carpenter and joiner.^[5]

In 1880, the family is in Spring Grove, Linn, Iowa. Daniel is a farmer.^[6]

Mabel died at the age of 65 on 2 May 1883. She is buried in the Blodgett Cemetery in Central City, Linn County, Iowa.^[7]
