Jean was born about 1642 (24 on 1666 census) Jean Réaume, son of Guillaume Réaume and Catherine Lemoyne

His first known presence in the colony was a deal he made before notary in 1663:

Marché de Jean Rhéaume à Claude de Courbière (15 juin 1663). Vol 1 pg 125 Notaire Claude Auber[1]

He entered into a contract of marriage in January 1665, with widow Marie Hordouille, and they married later in the month. They had one known child.

Marie Hordouille se remarie le 26 janvier 1665 à Notre-Dame de Québec avec Jean Réaume, fils de Guillaume Réaume et Catherine Lemoyne, habitant de Beauport, originaire de St-Nicolas-des-Champs à Paris.[2]. Le couple n'a qu'une enfant connue:

Marie Madeleine Réaume, née 18 mai 1666, bapt 21 Château-Richer[3]

Jean made a sale in March 1666, to Jean Baron dit Grisonnière:

Vente de Jean Rhéaume dit de Paris à Jean Baron dit Grisonnière (27 mars 1666). Vol 1 pg 132 Notaire Claude Auber[1]

In 1666 census, he is living with his wife and 3 of her children from her first marriage in Beaupré. (Not known if census was before or after birth of his daughter in May that year.)

In 1667, his wife's children who came to New France are found either married (Françoise & Denise), or living at Nicolas Roussin's home. Neither he, his daughter nor his wife are found, just one property he had in Beauport area (where he was resident when he married).

(François) Abraham Fiset, 30 ; Denise Savard, sa femme, 20 ; Jean, 2 ; Marie, 4 mois ; 19 arpents en valeur.

LA CÔTE DE NOTRE-DAME-DES-ANGES (près Beauport): [4]

Une habitation à Reaume ; 1 arpent en valeur.

In 1671 his wife received a concession in her name from the seigneur of Neufville where she is only mentioned as widow of her first husband. Such concession to a woman usually only occured when she was a widow.

He and his daughter are both absent from 1681 census. His wife is living with 2 of her sons and another woman close to her age is also listed with them.

Marie Ourdoville 54 ; enfants : Simon, 26, Jean 24 ; Perrine Lossillone 55 ; 2 fusils ; 4 bêtes à cornes ; 10 arpents en valeur.
