Updated Associations. In 2021-2022, Clifford Stott published that "Recently this author came across the following baptismal entries in the parish register of St. Cuthbert, Wells, Somerset ... [and these] dates closely correspond to what is known of the likely birth years of all three Samborne immigrants." These records report the immigrant boys were sons of Richard^A Samborne (not William). Further, Stott's work recognized Richard^A Samborne as the son of Richard^B Samborn (not Edward). On the basis of this work, Edward will be severed as the father-in-law to Ann (Bachiler) Samborne and grandfather to the three immigrant Samborne boys.
Prior Version. A prior version of this profile included comment,
Victor C. Sanborn was unsure of the identity of [Sanborn-45|Ann Bachiler SANBORN's husband], but his best theory was William, son of Edward.[1] His chart on p. 57 estimates Edwards birth about 1550. His pedigree chart outlines the relationship between Edward and William as speculative.
