Birth: 1843 Sequoyah County Oklahoma, USA Death: 1883 Sequoyah County Oklahoma, USA

John Sanders was born in Skin Bayou District, Indian Territory, Oklahoma, in 1851 it became Sequoyah District, what is now Sequoyah County, near Muldrow, Oklahoma.

He is the son of Andrew Sanders and Elizabeth Puppy. John married Marie Adeline Mitchell Nov. 4, 1877 in Sequoyah County, OK., IT. John and Marie had three children, Clara Bell Sanders Jackson, Mary Jane Sanders Bradshaw, and Walter Sanders. He passed away about 1883.

John's brother Samuel Sanders is buried in this cemetery.[1]
