Biography

William Hamilton Sands was born on May 13, 1892 in Richmond, Virginia, United States, son of William Hamilton Sands (1857–1918) and Fannie Edwards Dold (1856–1923).

His siblings were:

William married Dolores Winn (born about 1898 in Mathews County, Virginia, USA; daughter of Alexander C Winn).

William registered for the draft for World War I. [1]

In 1920, William H (28) was living in Norfolk Madison Ward, Norfolk (Independent City), Virginia. [2]

William died on July 4, 1978 in Virginia, aged 86. He was buried in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Arlington County, Virginia.[3] [4]
