Esther was born in 1818; she was the daughter of William Sargeant and Mary Miller:[1]
Grahamstown Journal 3 December 1835 records:[2] Married at Fort Beaufort by the Rev W.R. Thomson:
Job died in 1864; the 50-year-old widow married 67-year-old William Ravencell in John Wedderburn's House in Grahamstown on 11 November 1869.[3]
