Jonathan Sargeant, the son of William and Susana (Harraden) Sargeant, was baptized in the Third Parish, at Annisquam of Gloucester on June 22, 1735.[1] Alternately, Jonathan Sargeant, the son of William and Susana (Harraden) Sargeant, was baptized in Gloucester on Nov. 16, 1735. [2] Since the same parents did not have a second child of the same name 5 months after the first, it is reasonable to suppose that this birth/baptism was double recorded.
