Noah was the son of Edward H. "Tobie" Satterfield and Sarah Frances Teter. He married Nov. 27, 1919 at Green Forest, Carroll Co., AR Mattie Brad "Braddie" Jackson.
They lived most of their married life in the Farewell community of Carroll Co. where they operated the Farewell General Store.
They had one son: Wendell Reynard Satterfield
