Elizabeth (Savage) Precious was born in Derbyshire, England.
Elizabeth was born about 1869 in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England.

In 1891 she married George Precious.[1] At the time of the 1891 census, newly-wed Elizabeth was visiting her sister at 8 Amen Corner, Bramley, Yorkshire, England, along with her one month-old son, George Edward.[2]

By 1901 the couple were living with their four children at 22 Shakespeare Road, Gillingham, Kent.[3] By 1911 they had moved to 47 Shakespeare Road and George was employed at the military shipyard.[4]

George died in France in 1918[5] while serving as a Diver in the Mercantile Marine Reserve. He was buried in Terlincthun British Cemetery in Wimille, France.[6] George was awarded the Medal of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.[7]

Elizabeth died in 1938 at the age of 69.[8][9]
