Ann Saville was born in Essex, England.

Ann was born about 1835 in North Ockendon, Essex, England. The names of her parents are unknown.

Ann married Joseph Neal in Chadwell St Mary, Essex, on 14 June 1870. The couple had no children

Joseph was from Finmere in Oxfordshire. He had a variety of jobs, mainly in service, and the couple moved around a lot.

It is not known where or when Ann died. She was with Joseph at the time of the 1891 census, when Joseph was working as a grocer in Finmere. Ten years later, he was employed as a butler in Alderley, Gloucestershire. Ann was not with him on census night. Joseph was listed in the 1901 census as married not widowed.
